INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY

International Women's Day , originally called International Working Women's Day, is celebrated on March 8 every year. It commemorates the struggle for women's rights.

The earliest Women's Day observance was held on February 28, 1909, in New York and organized by the Socialist Party of America. A Women's Day demonstration on March 8, 1917 in Petrograd sparked the Russian Revolution.[4] Declared a national holiday in the Soviet Russia in 1917, it was predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted in 1977 by the United Nations.

O Dia Internacional da Mulher, originalmente chamado Dia Internacional da Mulher Trabalhadora, é celebrado em 8 de março de cada ano.  Ele comemora a luta pelos direitos das mulheres. A primeira celebração do Dia da Mulher foi realizada em 28 de fevereiro de 1909, em Nova York e organizada pelo Partido Socialista da América.  A demonstração do Dia da Mulher em 8 de março de 1917 em Petrogrado desencadeou a Revolução Russa. Declarado feriado nacional na Rússia Soviética em 1917, foi predominantemente celebrado pelo movimento socialista e pelos países comunistas até ser adotado em 1977 pelas Nações Unidas.

EXERCISES

1)      Há na letra da música uma  sentença no PRESENT CONTÍNUOUS. Reescreva-a:

2)      Retire do texto todos os versos que se encontram na forma negativa e transforme em afirmativas e negativas.

3)      Traduza o título : PRETTY WOMAN

4)      Na segunda estrofe, segundo verso  há o verbo COULDN´t, qual é o tempo presente desse verbo?

5)      Traduza em seu caderno a primeira estrofe e faça uma ilustração.

No dia 8 de Março realizamos  trabalhos sobre essa data de grande importância que é  o DIA INTERNACIONAL DA MULHER. O trabalho foi desenvolvido no período da tarde com o 6º A, 7º A,7º B, e 8º B do Ensino Fundamental. A priori os alunos assistiram ao clipe da música Pretty Woman, em seguida acompanharam a letra e seguiram  a  sequência da atividade. Realizaram pesquisas sobre o autor da letra por iniciativa própria.Os educandos se envolveram com a atividade , fizeram questionamentos durante a mesma, trocaram informações com os pares, acontecendo assim,atividades de leitura,pronúncia, escrita. Os materiais utilizados foram TV ,pen -drive,lousa, xerox, caderno ,dicionário... entre outros...
